Following advice from the government and our own governing body, we will not be carrying out routine appointments from tomorrow (24/03/2020), but will remain open for emergencies. If you have an appointment in the coming weeks, we will be contacting you by phone in the next few days.
We have decided staying open to the general public is not the best way to protect our patients and our staff, as we all try to limit social contact at this time. Our NHS are doing an amazing job and we should support them in reducing the spread of infection as much as we can.
Rest assured that we are still here to support you through this difficult time. We will still answer the phone and provide triage appointments. We will still see emergency appointments if necessary following triage. We will also do our best to get contact lenses, solutions and drops to you if we are able.
We are still working out the logistics, but will be posting regular updates here and on our social media channels to keep you in the loop. Thank you for your patience.
This situation is difficult, but temporary. It has affected each of us but will bring us together as a community like never before. Thank you for your support always. Our patients are the heart of our practice and we are looking forward to seeing you again very soon. Stay at home and stay safe.
