Latest OCT Scanner gives peace of mind

Following the success of our Retinal Photography machine, we’re just about to install the latest new OCT scan machine in our practice.

It automatically scans both eyes and produces simultaneously an OCT scan & a true colour fundus image, which can be stored on a patient’s records for future examinations.

What this means to our patients is that we can offer an indepth superior 3-D scan of your eyes, which costs £30.

In the past, we refer many patients to the hospital for this scan, but having the technology in our practice means on some occasions a referral appointment to the hospital is no longer necessary.
